Pride tells us why commit to one girl/guy when I can have more than one. Humility tells us I’m fortunate to have found someone and I’m going to do my best to love, understand, and forgive. Pride tells us money and success is all that matters. Humility tells us that Glorifying Christ’ name is all that matters and whatever He blesses us with we are thankful for.
I could go on and on but the moral of the story is pride is alive in too many of us. In order for us to rid of that we must seek Him who brings humility and wisdom. I’ve been told by a few people lately that they want what I have. They admire the change, peace, and love I seem to be growing into and spreading. I was far from the man I am now and still have struggles and learning to do, but I’m not doing it alone. That too, can be you through following and being All In for Christ. No life isn’t perfect once you do, in fact, the closer you get with Him the more you’ll become tested, but you’ll have a peace throughout the chaos, you’ll know and understand love cause He loves you therefore you won’t settle into worldly relationships with empty endings, you’ll be lead by the Spirit as opposed to the flesh and most of all you’ll be able to bring those you love most the true definition of Life through the fruits He’s given you to bear.
